jump starting a bike

other than taking the battery to the shop, how would you start a bike with a month old battery and doesnt want to start. its reads 8-10 volts and the meter. i take it out out about once a week. whats the deal???

Push start, battery charger, or jump start. Best way would be a trickle charger they are around $30.
