It's late, and I'm trying to decide what wheels to put on my Aoshima VIP Y33 Cedric. Still excited about Aoshima's new wheel releases later this year. So I'm sitting here pondering. We've all seen the many threads about the number of everyone's unbuilt kits, etc. Now let's see everyone's wheel/rim stash.

Now I know some of you guys have more. You have to. Each time more come in, and I get that look, I tell the wife, "but there are guys out there with more." Don't make me a liar.
Oh, and if anyone has any wheel suggestions for my Y33 Cedric, I'm open to ideas.

Tonio, where are your's? I know you got some. :)
Sorry guys, they are not for sale. I have friends and family that travel to Asia on a regular basis, and they are kind enough to look for me. I've never found any locally.
HLJ has the info on the new Aoshima wheel release. They're accepting preorders.

Oh, one more thing. If you guys are looking for those OOP 19" Aoshima wheels, they still make them for several of their VIP Car kits. For example, you can get 19" Amistad V's in the Admiration UCF31 Celsior regular and subwoofer version. I just received the regular version from HLJ. I've seen Lowenharts, WRV's, etc in other kits. Just look around.

Anyone able to link to the new rims on HLJ? I'd like to pre-order all I can if they're actually available for pre-order yet.

I've got a handful of rims, but I wonder something about ya'll's collections. Do your wheel sets outnumber your models in boxes/under construction? And why for do you have some many duplicate sets? I'm just curious, would you put the same rims on a few different cars? Personally, I don't build enough cars to justify any two riding on the same wheels, and even if I did I'd avoid it unless they were somehow related and therefore should be on the same wheels. Is there any reason why ya'll have so many of the same (or just so many!)? I'm not criticizing anyone, just curious is all.
Anyway, here is my feeble little collection of rims. A few of them are from cars I gave up on, and none are in boxes anymore.

I buy wheels I like so I have them when I want to use them. Also, I never know when I might get ahold of a kit I've been looking for and want the perfect set of wheels to go with it. Also, I have a large amount of kits that I'm unsure exactly how I want them to look so better safe than sorry. :) Plus I just like wheels!! :p

To answer willimo's questions, my wheels do outnumber my unbuilt kits by about 2 to 1. Yes, it is silly, but just like some people buy up kits before they go OOP, I do the same for wheels. These ones are hard enough to find right now, no telling in a year or two. And if I decide, I don't want them anyone more, there are always people willing to buy them. As for the multiples, I actually am building car teams. 6 (maybe more) Aoshima VIP cars, good vs. evil theme, each side riding on the same wheels with matching color schemes, etc.

Are these all 19inch?
Highly unlikely. As I mentioned in the other thread about Aoshima's winter releases, these are S-Parts wheels, not VIP Parts wheels. To my knowledge, there are no current S-Parts wheels bigger than 18". All of Aoshima 19's are part of their VIP Parts wheels.
