yea im having trouble with my keyless entry. I mounted the motor in the gap. Well when its just a little cold outside the motors freeze up. If i open it up the motors work. Could it be the position in where i installed them. Need help

the motors shouldn't freeze, they're probly designed to handle warm/cold environments...

This doesnt really help ya, but I put mine in the gap and they have been working fine for months now.

Thanks man i think its because i mounted it behind the plastic covering where glass is. I think moisture would get in and freeze it up when there were freezing temps. Maybe the motors r just cheap ones i that i got from ebay. Ill try relocating it and if that doesn't work ill buy the autoloc ones thanks

An alarm system (if you don't already have one) and some relays to operate the locks off the alarm.

don't have an alarm right now, but where would be the best place to get the relays? or would i be best off getting them where and when i get the alarm? i've also heard about that start your car from 50 feet thing, how does that work?
