Having Trouble!! 91 HB Cargo Cover Trays!

Hey whats sup....

My 91 DX Hatch back didn't come with cargo cover or the trays for it, and I just finished painting the trays yesterday so that I could install them today.

When I went to try and install them the screws that I got with the tray's wouldn't go in all the way and tighten. They would just go in half way and at an angle. But it seemed like they were tight by hand but when I went to finish tightening them with my wrench they were still loose and just kept turning like if they were stripped. But I took the bolt out and it was fine. SO now I'm stuck and I can't get these trays on.

And you know how if your car didn't come with the option from the factory it still has the fittings for you to put them in but the holes that I have in my car are a little off it seems.

Any Ideas?

I'd really appreciate the help so that I can finally get this cargo cover up and RUNNING on my car.
