Duratec 35

Has anyone seen the blurb about the newly unveiled Duratec 35. This is a new V6 (3.5L respectively) engine that will probably be tossed in the new mustangs. The 05's will probably have the slated Duratec 30 engine, but the 06's could get the new engine, that has a possible peak hp at 275. Imagine the New Base model mustangs being faster tahn today's V8's! that's 's kind of funny, but I'd like to hear opnions and if you have more info let us know!

was that in muscle mag two months ago?

I've been lookin into this Duratec 3.5L, but I can't get any confirmation on it going into a mustang in the future. It's seems to be for Lincoln and Mercury cars only. I hope that's not the case.
I know the base mustang isn't meant to be the fastest car under 20k, but it has some pretty fierce competion in that price range so I hope Ford plans to do something soon. Namely up-ing the horsepower and lightening the car up some.
Anybody else out there able to confirm this 3.5L rumor?
