Will dealers come off MSRP on a 2002 325i or 330i?

I've never bought a German car before and I'm used to paying invoice for American cars, what's the best deal I could get on an order on a 2002 325 or 330? Are they willing to come off MSRP at all, and if so, how much? Also, was wondering if the leather seats are worth the money or if the leatherette is suitable? And also, does anybody have pictures of all the rims for 2002? I can't find any on BMW's site and it's driving me nuts, there's so many different ones, I can't figure it all out.

My local BMW dealer agreed to discount $1000 on a 2002 325i sedan and $1500 on an estate. These discounts may change after January 1, as the dealer profit margin will narrow from 10% to 9%.
The best way to see the wheels is to get the BMW model-specific brochure from your dealer: they have HUGE photos of the standard offerings and option package ones, too.
If you are looking for an 'extra' set, your dealer has one or two copies of a wheels-only brochure for on-site review of ALL the BMW wheels, with huge photos and prices. Every dealer I have seen also has a huge display of ACTUAL wheels with prices on the rims for your hands-on examination.

What do you mean $1500 on an estate?

Estate is the German word for that equally bizarre term 'station wagon."

Have you tried the German BM site - They are current for the 2002 models for the UK market. They have a 'car configurator' that you can use to get any combination of options and it gives a picture of you choice.

Hey there - I just bought a 2002 330i last week. Like all car shoppers, we're lead to believe that MSRP is a reasonable price, or even MSRP plus markup - only because these are "limited" German cars.
It's all sales talk. Even KBB is not realistic with their invoice price - do you really think Autonation (one of the largest dealership owners in the nation) pays $37K for a 330i. Of course not, with their volume, they pay less than that.
Anyways, I shopped for the 330i for a couple days, some dealers don't budge, leave in that case. One stopped at $2000 off MSRP of $41K. Finally, I purchased from the dealer who gave me $2500 off MSRP of $41K. This is the same dealer who told me that the markup on my car was $4K. Within minutes, he was willing to work with me on my offer of $2500 off. This is the hottest BMW dealer in the Bay Area.
If I were you, I would lowball your dealer by offering $3500 of sticker. Good luck, let me know how it goes.

How about taking delivery of one in the US? Would a salesperson be less likely to bargain in that type of a situation?
