This model was a pain! Had to strip the paint 3 times. And I lost my decals due to the first paintjob. The worst problem I had was my side view mirror went down the drain, but eventually was recovered. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/tongue.gif

I like it! How did you fit the intercooler?

bah humbug

Veyron- I dremelled the front of the chassis a bit. You have to re-check a couple of times.

I didn't dremel the center of the front of of the chassis so the intercooler wouldn't look too far back.

So you avoid dremelling about 2 centimeters in the middle and dremel the plastic to the left and right of the center.

Hard to explain but tell me if I need to explain more.

Very nice.
Good job on the exhaust weathering.
I prefer it with the wing.

That's weird, it looks fantastic with our without the wing. From the front is looks great and the rear it doesn't.

So, I dunno what to tell you! LOL

Great job man! What kit was that? 1/24 scale? I agree- no wing. How do you strip the paint? I was thinking of starting a Audi Quattro....Also, how did you get the black lining around the windows? Do you airbrush your whole car? Looks great!

Kit- Fujimi Garage MAK Silvia I think it's OOP at the moment.
Stripping paint - Dot 3 Brake Fluid
Black lining - Tamiya masking tape (others will do)
Paint was with Tamiya can.

BTW, take a look in the FAQ.

Looks like you need to.

I like it. And with a color like that, you need a GT wing. :grinyes:

Looks very sweet. IMO the wing needs to be smaller

Yeah, I agree with you a little.

Before I finished the model I was going to cut those clamps or whatever you call them. I was going to shorten the whatever you call them.

But, I'm too lazy. And I'm not sure if the super glue will hold up the shortened metal pieces.

Or I could've soldered if I cut it.

Well, whatever! :dunno:
