I have a 98 Z71 with no brake lights. I have checked fuses, bulbs and all are fine. I have the brake light on top of the cab and all of the taillights, turn signal, park and reverse lights work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the brake lamp switch.
remove the taillamp assembly and check for power at the connector. If you have power at the connector when the brakes are pushed, then the switch and wiring to that point is good. You may have a bad circuit board assembly at the tailamp

I just went thru this with my 1990 K1500. My flashers and turn singles worked but no brakes. I traced the wiring schematics and found only one trace that could make the bk lights not work. It was in the turn single/hazard assy. Replaced it and all is back to normal.

Sounds like a turn signal switch problem.
