Ok I am realocating my battery to the back and I read somewhere you have to use a sealed battery like a Optima because regular batteries can emit poison gas :dunno: Is this true?

..if you put a regular battery in a box..you'll be fine.. ideally, you'd use a box vented to the outside...but I had mine with no vent and the box wasnt 'sealed' and it was fine...I didnt die ;)

you are also supposed to have a shutoff switch for it also if you relocate it to the trunk.

DO USE A SEALED BATTERY. Regular batteries let off hydrogen gas, it will kill you and its very flammable.

i've always wanted to take a car battery, hook it to jumper cables, and drop the other ends into a public swimming pool.
not enuff to hurt anyone, but just enuff juice to make everyone in the pool get that feeling like when you lick a 9v battery all over there bodies.
