2000 neon 4cd PLAYER

anyone else had issues with the factory installed 4xcd player....?

i put in new cds and they are skipping....and this is after i have cleaned the lenses with cleaning cds...and sometimes it does work( well discs 2,3 work ok usually) HOWEVER almost all the cds i play in the car end up getting totally scratched up!!!!!

i cannot understand how it seems so much engineering can go into products that are so under-developed, anyone have any tips? or any info on this? please, it annoys me
