To be or not to be...

I have 2 long-time friends who don't particularly get along very well...they are civilized when they have to be (eg. when a friend is around, in a public place, etc.)
Otherwise, they both backstab the hell out of each other in private. So it falls upon me that I hear both sides usually. Normally I just let them say what they will, saying, "Yeah, yeah, sure, whatever" but in this case I'm not sure what to do. One sent nude pictures of the other, and I've already chewed into the sender, but now I'm stuck with the question of whether to inform the other party or to let it go. Should I put in a "resignation" as both their friends or what.

With an unreliable friend,gossip goes in one ear,and out of the mouth.A good friend will listen when asked to,turn a blind eye when needed to,forget it ever happened if asked to,but will never pass on an unworthy comment.If friend 'A',is being an ass,don't tell friend 'B'.Tell friend 'A'.If they are both being stupid,tell them so,but don't bother them with the other person's shortcomings,they have enough of their own attitude problems to address.

BTW: the pics were gotten from the b/f of the girl. He happened to be the roommate of the other friend. :eek7:

Sounds like quite the soap opera your involved with. I'm with T on this one. Don't be the one to spread the word of the other persons misdeeds. As long as you want to continue being friends with both, you'll just have to tell them you don't want to hear this stuff.
