door handles

It seems (at least from a quick glance) that the doors handles on 92-95 Civics would interchange with the door handles from later 96-? Civics. Has anyone tried to replace the older door handles that flip forward with the newer door handles that flip up? I know to do this you would have to take the doors apart and also switch the lock cylinders but that isn't a big deal. I just like the newer style handles better than the older ones.
