fuel odor

Does anyone know if there was a recall for fuel leaks?

try calling the 1-800 number for GM Canada, they will be able to give you more info.
I have a 99 sunfire and am all up to date with my recalls and have not heard of such.

Based on other complaints i have heard from sunfire owners, it could be a loose injector or injector gasket causing the fuel to seep out around the injector in question.

There probably will be a recall out soon. I have heard the complaints about a fuel leak on these newer Sunfires as well. Got to be bad injectors in these cars. Fuel Pumps have had no problems.

athough i can only tell you because it happened to me too is that you might want to see if your fuel regulater is leaking....not too bad to fix
