Does anyone know where i can get DC Sports Ceramic Coated headers at a god price for my 90 accord. I've seen online sites for group bying that had DC sports headers for $200, but only for civics and integras.

nopi.com may have some. I wouldn't recommend getting ceramic coating. I've heard it tends to crack and fall off if it's not done well and thermalwrap will offer the same benefits at a big saving. Good luck.

most header manufacturers dont reccomend putting on thermal wraps because it heats up the pipe alot and sometimes causes cracking and the header wont last as long due to the extreme heat. The best way to make your headers last a long time and make them look good at the same time is to have them jet hot coated.

they have some pics and more details on the SHO accord V6 board if you do a search.

Ive had my DC ceramic header for a long time with no problems. I had some header wrap on it, and it got way too hot. After 1 week I took it off.

Not only that it can cause damage or melt your cat due to extreme heat.

I don't know if DC sport ceramic header is the best bet yet. I'm still considering it though. I'm also looking into Neuspeed new header for 90 Accords and Chikara also makes one for it. Two bills dosen't seem like a bad price and I hear alot of people like the DC header. I'll be watching your thread to see what turns up. :p

i've got the Neuspeed for my 94 EX... hasnt rusted in over a year now.

and thermal wrap will not cause your cat to melt. platinum and rhodium are much more durable than that, plus since the header aint melting, why should the cat housing?

I have a 97 EX and I was thinking about putting DC Sports Ceramic Headers on my car too. Have you figured out the reason why your check engine light keeps coming on?

Thermal wrap everything, and get a turbo. I'm sure something is going to get hot:finger:

sounds like your o2 sensor is loose.. well at least the connections to it. That happened to me a year ago.. just push it back in.

I just plain wouldnt fuck with nitrous on a motor that has stock internals. If you absolutely have to, I wouldnt use any more than a 50 shot. NOS doesnt do good things for the longevity of your internally stock engine.
