First I'd like to thank you guys for helping on the clutch/tranny problem. I'm looking into the slave and master cylinders. Here is just an I'm wondering question. In my 88 comanche right now I don't have a tach. which bothers me, A LOT! So I've heard from somewhere in the breeze that the wireing is already there for the Tach. So I'm wondering first of all is this true, and if it is, can i swap it out for one of the nicer clusters with the black backing, or if I have to stick with old school blue. So anything you know would be great. Thanks!

I don't know if the wiring is there (is it there on cherokees too "91?) any way if it is not you can get some cool tach that are electric and are a snap to hook up. not sure 100% how they hook up but they work well and are fairly inexpenisve. check out your local parts store I am sure they will have lots of options for you.

Dont know which one but I believe JP Magazine did this recently and it is easily done, any XJ Cherokee up to 91 will fit -I believe 92s had the electric stuff and up. Check their site out and I think you will find it- I will try and find it and if I do will post it back here ( I installed a gauge type once in a 85 Cherokee went from a idiot light panel and it worked, had to get senders etc, but not a big deal)
