Free Mods

I was wondering if anyone would know any free mods. I have bought a bunch of mods for my car but I am now broke! I was wondering if there were any free ones I could do in the meantime? Hit me back!

What takes sooo long to get a reply around here? I know about the tuner tube and removing the restrictor box. Are there any more mods that are possible without really spending alot of cash? I have bought exhaust, high flow cat, headers, fuel injectors, fuel rail, and I am saving for the wet N2O system to cap it off for a little while. But I would like to explore some free modifications.

well you could paint your front grill things, or pop teh rubber covers off your knobs to get teh clear knob thing... thas free

Hey, sorry I'm new to modding my car but I have a 97 sunfire GT and was wondrin, what's the tuner tube and restrictor box removal do? and it's free? if so, how would I do that? any help would be great, thanks

Sunfire, I heard there is Mod sponsorship opps and new release bodykits at www.automotiveengineeringanddesign.com (http://www.automotiveengineeringanddesign.com)

taking the rubber off the HVAC knobs, you can remove the tuner tube and use it as a pencil holder, but removing that doesn't do anything special... you can remove the "bong" and let some air into your system... its under the battery behind the wheel well... another enexpensive thing to do is go buy a Honda short ram air intake and a cone filter and fix up an air intake... Honda short ram intake plus generic cone filter = 50 bucks... sunfire air intake = 150 plus

I was surfing the net this morning and found a good site www.freecarkits.com (http://www.freecarkits.com) theyre not totally free but really cheap and easy to do.Hope this helps
