90 lx 2.3l is going to be changed out to 302 out of 87 ltd cruser. :) do i need the electronics from the crusier or the mustang gt? also i heard the t5 borg-morton trans is what gets put in 4cl and 8? true?

It's T-5 by Borg-Warner, and although the 4cyl and 8cyl sare the same T-5 case the are built with different internals and to different specs. A 4cyl 5-speed is a lot weaker than a 8cyl T-5. It is general accepted that puttin a 4cyl T-5 behind a V-8 is a bad idea.
