i have a 95 integra LS manual and just had a turbo installed not to long ago. the car runs good , but whenever i come off from boosting the car seems to hesistate somewhat under normal driving conditions. This is easily corrected by turning off the engine and turning it back on again, but I should not have to do that every time i boost. I did get an upgraded fuel pump in hopes this would correct the issue but no dice. and I do have a vorted fmu for fuel management....what am i missing here????

What type of turbo setup are you running? Turbo type, fuel management, ignition management and so forth? Sounds like the ecu is going into Limp mode and your staying really rich until you restart the car. Do you have an A/F guage of some sort? That would probably help some for trouble shooting.

FMU and fuel management don't belong in the same sentence because the FMU is a bandaid fix. Chances are 95% likely that's why your car runs like crap.

i do have an air fuel gauge. what i notice is that after i boost the check engine light comes on and then it runs rich all the time.

Get a real engine management system, that's about the only way to cure your problem. Might want to check what disc you're running in the FMU. If you're getting bad fuel dump and you have a 12:1 try dropping it to a 10:1 and if that doesn't work try 8:1. The only way to fix the problem is to get a good computer though. Heck, even the AFC hack would run better but no point wasting your money on an AFC when you could just save for an AEM or a hondata.
