svo engine..

where can I buy a 2.3 litre turbo svo engine??

Call up some junk yards and see if they have any 86-88 turbocoupes, they were basically the same motor, they used the 2.3T in some mustang GT's and merkur's as well.

Check out www.turboford.org (http://www.turboford.org) . Dedicated to the 2.3 Turbo. There's a For Sale forum there and an excellent FAQ section. SVO's, Merkur XR4Ti's, 83-86 Thunderbird Turbocoupes, and some early eighties Mustangs and Capris all had basically the same motor. There are minor differences including different HP levels. 85-86 SVO's and 87-88 Thunderbird Turbocoupes had the highest HP levels (190 for those T-birds, SVO's are around 190-200 from 85.5 up(i think)) Become a member while you're there and tell 'em jll2k1 sent you.
