Headers on my v8 s10

Hi i have an 85 s10 with a 350 with gm manifolds... IK i have to buy the special headers but can someone tell me whats involved with installing them like do i have to remove the steering column.. or what.... Ide appreciate it.. i have low budget and not a lot of time i need as much help as i can get

You can get the Heddman shorties for 119 dollars from jegs or summit. To get them on the drivers side you have to take the shaft apart and run the shaft between the tubes of the headers.
