Hopefully both of you will run your cars into the ditch for even thinking of racing 2 stupendously slow cars.

If that doesn't happen, think about it. Blazer weighs over 4000 pounds and only has 60 horsepower on the eclipse. Surely you could have found that out while searching for their horsepower and torque.

well sorrrrrry...blazr weighs some where roung 3600 while clipse weighs 2700....and does tq not count 4 nething?

WHY?

Is it a 2wd Blazer or 4wd? If it's a 2wd model then I would say the Blazer will win. If it were against any other model Eclipse (turbocharged or V6) then it wouldn't have a chance.

Most people think Blazer they think its heavy, they weigh around the same as an extended cab S-10, my truck basically. I know I can beat a base model 4-banger Eclipse.

It doesn't really matter what the majority is this guy needs to be more specific. For all I know he could be talking about a Blazer Xtreme which absolute 0 made are 4wd. Be more specific DJ Nitrous.

Look in Autotrader son... most S10 Blazers for sale are 2WD. You must be thinking of the K5 or K10 Blazers which are based off of the Silverado. Those are all 4x4. Don't think i've ever seen a non-4x4 fullsize Blazer. Especially since the K designates 4x4.

S10 Blazers, K5, K10 haven't been around since 1994 and there are some 4 door non 4wd drive blazers look at msn auto under engines son. Instead of asking which is better between a V6 Blazer of a Eclipse 92 2.0L V4 why don't we talk about who would win between a Ford Fiesta and a Chevy Citation. :rofl:

I'm guessing he's asking this because he owns a Blazer/Eclipse and is going to race a Blazer/Eclipse, and of course like most random people who show up here wants our opinions out of fear or some odd reason.

I would not doubt at all a 2wd 4.3l V6 Blazer is going to beat a 92 4-banger Eclipse w/o the turbocharger. If it were to be a 4wd model it might still beat it but I don't really know that.

I have an 95 (dont think Xtremes were made then..sry if i didnt specify yr model) 2WD Blazer and the guy who drives the clipse says he will win no doubt...i would like opinions b4 i go and talk "smack" so i dont look like a dumb ass if i were to lose the race...no money/pinks (lol thatd b real messed up) or chick at stake..purely fun...V4 is a typo...i'd hope to god i didnt think it was an actual V...that'd b pretty coo to c though...its not that serious of a question 4 u guys to be nsultin eachotr...if ne one ...insult me for asking the question...l8a..thnx 4 comments.......

lets talk about my dad beat an riced (thats right) neon in our Venture minivan..lol...it was hilarious.....neon thries to pass on right after a "right lane ends" sign...he was doin bout 45 when is door reaches our frnt fender (we were n left lane)...and my dad guns it...lol...we pull on him then pass ( all b4 lanes merge so the neon wasnt forced back)...funny stuff...HOW COULD A VENTURE BEAT A NEON?? eveidently it was ragged out or sumpthin was wrong...so dont hate me...jus tell wut i saw...Riced b/c the stock red hood was painted black...coulda been a replace from junkyear but had red spots n places...rollin spares and the rear wing caps had sumpthin like import.com stickers on em...dude was total idiot

Don't talk smack just let him get all cocky, then put him in his place. And watch the excuses pour in lol. Being an auto you don't really have to do much, leave it in drive and mash the gas pedal down when its time to go. Revving it up probably won't be necessary.
