I have a 98 honda accord coupe. I wanted to swap my engine for the RB26DETT. I wanted AWD or at least RWD. What transmission options do I have, and can any of this be done at all

You realize how long the RB engine is right? I doubt it will fit in there unless you want to change your car over to a drag car only.

Stick with honda gear will cost you less in the long run.

I only plan on taking it to shows and racing it at the track. As far as the transmission money isn't an option I don't want to sacrifice performance what other suggestions do you have, and do you think I should keep the car FWD? I know it has to be a way to get the engine in I'm just not sure how.

anything is possible with enought money...if you want power, either get a RWD car or swap a eclipse motor into it, you could get AWD that way and not have to completely redo your frame, and all other crap

When you put a new engine in you can keep the same transmission in so you engine stays in the best and top speed when you put a new engine it goes to 180 mph with a new engine than the old. Trust me I got my own Engine Enhancment Software and there is no mistake. besides mine is a 1450 hp fiull NOS Jet Turbo unit.

1450 hp! Oh yeah, well my GT-R has dual engines. One RB26DETT in the back and one near the front just in case I need the extra power. And it's got two (one per engine) land-based General Electric LM5000 Gas Turbines mounted on the dash that produces 55.5 MW of power at 3600 rpm with direct steam injection (and thats without the v-tec gaseous discharge lamps or the type-R sticker on the intake manifold). Don't even get me started on my turbo-heated thermodynamically flow optimized cold air intake.

besides mine is a 1450 hp fiull NOS Jet Turbo unit.

A full NOS JET Turbo unit? You're lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake! Now me and the mad scientist gotta rip apart the block, and replace the piston rings you fried.

the engine will not blow because of the power but at only the way it was done and put in all mechanics that include me knows that.
