2004 Audi A4 3.0 AWD Quattro
Pretty Close in getting this car, although i have to get multitronic instead of a standard =/ it is said that it does the same speed as a standard ? Is this car easy to mod? Is Silver a good choice ?

I have the A4 3.0 Quattro Steptronic (tiptronic? not cvt) and I would say the only place it suffers over a manual (stick shift) is the initial off the line burst as you can't raise the revs prior to 'launch'. Also the car is so damn smooth it really does hide the speed and acceleration. Use the tiptronic to hold the gear you need through a corner and it pulls out of a corner aswell as the manual.
Don't tell Thames Valley Traffic Police but to prove a point to a A4 TDI driver who insisted his diesel had more 'usuable' performance I floored it down the Marlow bypass near Windsor - at 115mph as it changed OUT of third the mobile rang: Mr TDI "OK I believe you, where did you go?"
A great car, you'll love it.
