Dent question

Need some advice please...

I just bought a 2000 Ford Explorer XLT this Monday. It was almost perfect. Not a dent to be found anywhere and the paint looks really good. I went to a wedding last night and brought home a little present of my own. Somebody banged their car door into mine. I thought it would take longer than 5 days to pick up my first ding! :)

I saw a product on tv called the "Ding King" for $29.95 that is supposed to be pretty useful for fixing door dings. Does anybody have any experience using this device or any other helpful tips? If you happen to park somewhere and see an Explorer parked a half mile from everybody else, that's me from now on!!!

One more question, does anybody have an idea how much it costs for professional dent removal? I asked around today, but nobody was available to do it.

I dont know about the Ding King but paintelss dent repair techs will use something very similar on larger dents. If the metal is creased it can't be removed with PDR skills. PDR usually cost for 1 dent $35 - $100 most will give a free estimate.
