window crank

hey...now i took the screws and shit out to get the door panel off of a 2000 S-10 Xtreme and i got the tool to take the window handle off but it wont work...is there some kind of special trick to get this damn handle off!!!??? :banghead:

have you tried the chainsaw? lol

keep trying... there is a c-clip on the back side of the handle that keeps it on the flange... i had to jerry rig a small screwdriver and pry it out while i pressed on the door panel to get access. don't wory about bending or breaking the clip...it's replaceable and not worth saving if it makes it easier to remove it by breaking it off.

There is a thin plastic cover between the door panel and the handle. Make sure you are getting between that cover and the handle. Than go about removing the clip as usual.
