exhaust on a 2.2?

I have a 2wd 99 s-10 and was wondering what kind of exhaust I could put on it that would increase performance and not sound like a weed eater.

for a increase in Hp u have to have a free flowing exaust if im not mistaken and i dont know if you can get 1 that isnt loud
