Well seeing as how we've kind of moved I suppose I'll throw up a couple of my pics for your viewing pleasure. It's still a work in progress of course and I've only a few pics as I scanned them for the guy buying my suspension. Enjoy :silly:

Thanks Goosse, the tint sets off the car I think.
The rims are Giovanna Kyotos, I love em :D
Pics aren't great quality but you get the idea. Looks better in the flesh.

I don't want to burst your bubble G, but what happens at renewal time or if you have to get cover from someone else, from my experience they look for engineers reports etc.......You'd really want to check it out before spending all that money..............but on the other hand, if you did get away with it, I might follow the same route :smoker2:

Yea, it's a joke alright!
By the way, a friend of mine recently swaped a 1.4 stock to a 1.6 VTi in a '97 Hatch, apparently it was alot of work, also had to change the rear drums to disks.
Has to be one of the most unique cars around though!

Nice car Master G, nice rims and cool looking with the black windows on the pictures.
Swap engines.. do you do it yourself? Where do you get the money from? I want that 2!
I know a company in holland, TCC, they put in an integra type R engine in a civic coupe (one version earlier as yours).

Well for a start it's not a H22 :silly2: But you're right, dropping one of them in requires a lot of suspension work to get it to handle right and you have to buy an engine mount kit and stuff too. I think most people i the US just drop them in for the 1/4.

Should be well into the 150hp range with quality headers.

Very interesting G,
Never heard of anyone doing that before!
What's the story with changing the Reg. Cert to reflect the engine change, I think you will have to get a garage stamp or similar? Can't believe the insurance are not even charging you extra (even for the difference in capacity!) Nice One :hehe:

If Iīm remembering right your Civic has got drum brakes on the back, hasnīt it? It's been done before alright, stateside but it's not very common. Took me a long time to get all the info on the swap, I'm looking for all the parts right now. And I plan to upgrade the drums to discs at some stage, one thing at a time though, get the block in there and running.

As far as I know you can get upgraded drums - don't know how good they are but the drum to disc conversion kit is pretty expensive!
