ok i want to upgrade my spark plugs but am not sure which set to get. the two brands i am considering are denso and ngk. anyone have experience withe either of these brands? also im not sure which is better for my gsr platinum or irridium plugs, whats the difference and which would be better for my car? Lastly what is the benefit of a new wire set ? and which size wires are best for a 96 gsr? thanks

never heard any bad stuff about ngk and a lot of imports have them, but this isn't an excuse to jump on the band wagon. with the plug type, go for the irridium. the platinum is good for longevity if ur thinking of not replacing your plugs for a while, but they aren't as good with performance since it isn't very conductive.

Just go with some stock NGK'S if you have not got any kind of FI. Plugs will not give you any real hp increase unless you have some sort of FI, you can use the money for something else that will produce real hp :p

:iagree:

plugs don't do jack for a relatively stock motor.

EDIT: meant to say plugs AND wires don't do jack...

if u spend more than $6-10 a plug, u've wasted a lot of money.
