turbocharger would be better-at least on this particular car...
weigh little, doesn't need alot of power to create power, un-ending tune ups to custumized the turbo to meet your needs or demands, cheaper too.

I was just wondering what kind of difference it made. I dont want to spend all this money hooking up my car if someone can buy something stock for 19 Gs that would burn me.

GM is offering a supercharger for 2000 to 2003 cavilier's/sunfires with the 2.4 motor. you can install but then have to go to dealer to get it tuned in. also does not void warrenty.

well by adding a turbo or supercharger, it increases 6-8 psi of air, ontop of the normal 14.7 psi. so theoretically increase of 50%, but expect more like 40%. so 2003 2.2L ecotec w/ 140 hp NA+super/turbo charger=196hp, maybe more, maybe less. that's pretty good though.

for $19g's? u can buy a stock R32 skyline for $18k. pretty sure that'll beat most cavaliers.
