Hello I have (actually my dad)just received our Zonda after almost 1 year and half of waiting. This has been well worth the wait I can tell you that! I have only had it for a few days it is all red w/ grey rims and red lining. I can say it is very very loud, I still haven't driven it tho. My dad is very very touchy with it But it is way faster than our Diablo (Which is also a very fun car to drive) I can't wait till (*ANOTHER*) year or so when he doesn't care so much about it and let me drive. NE ways here is one picture of it..
BTW : What do u think of the rims my dad likes them but i think they are kind of tacky.... oh well we can get new ones they are like 10k$ a set or something.
I think that this only 1 of very few delivered in america! I've heard theres one in malibu but I am in Nor CAL near Silly valley.
I don't think it's street legal but i think we can get it homologated later right now it stays mainly in the garage like a show car or we drive it on our street I can't wait to see how fast it accelerates when u floor it( haven't tried yet only had for like 3 days)

Daaamn dude, what's your father do for a living? Need an extra hand? I'll move next door and work 24/7 for him! A Diablo and now a Zonda?! Are you letting people pay $1,000 to drive it one mile? Sign me up! You definately need to get those pics up, like Pagani-quick. Where exactly in NorCal are you? I'd kill just to take a look; I'm in Chico.

I'm trying to put the picture but it doesn't work ... its only 40k i don't know if thats too big to upload... another unique thing on our Zonda that others don't have is that the headlight covers are the same color as the paint i like them that way, i haven't seen it on any other ones..
u won't be seeing it on the road thats for sure ... it's illegal we might take it to a show... one last try to get that picture.
okay now i think it will work..
The Diablo we rent out once in a while but the Pagani ... NEVER there aren't that many and we payed a lot for it.. air shipping ( a car) is like 90,000$ or something

All I can say is that car is sick! Absolutely beautiful. What did you have to pay total? (car+shipping+smog?+anything else) What's your next car? TVR Speed 12? I'll have to personally beat you in if you ever get a 12...its my dreamcar  . But seriously, pat your dad on the back for me. BTW: How old are you? Most people 40+ STILL haven't had the chance to drive a Diablo, and it sounded like you drive it on your whim!

I'm 17... yeah i know i'm spoiled but i try not to act spoiled... and focus on my education. :D
No plans for new cars as of yet but the XJ 220 is pretty nice and not very pricey i think $200,000 the EB110 is nice too but the problem is they are all in germany ! we'll have to import them here and that costs too much!!!!! I think we'll be satisfied for years with this one!
i'm not sure but I think the car was like 320,000 and shipping like 100k and smog hehe... we don't care about smog on this! 29$ at the local 76 (just imagine a pagani in a 76 getting a smog check :D )

While I'm not 100% sure but that car looks photoshopped. The layout and everything. Do you have any better pictures or interior shots to prove it. There have been a lot of posers around here as of recently and its just hard to believe sometimes.

Here is the interior sorry i took it w/ my camera phone so it looks like crap ... i think it is the standard one although still it is beautiful.

The photo btw is with the hood up you should see this thing all unfolded and stuff its so cool... it looks like a beetle or something thats what it reminds me of or a bird w/ wings unfolded. I will race this car someday it is my dream...
The thing that sucks is u can't take it past 120mph (i think) because they put some stupid chip in.... I will have so much pleasure seeing that thing ripped off. I have taken the Diablo up to 176 mph they say top is like 205 but i don't know how! maybe a 7 mile long drag striP :D
I just hope what they have done to the Diablo doesn't happen to the Zonda or Murcielago! Have u seen the crappy paint jobs I am happy my baby is a nice metallic blue and not some crap w/ SV and VTT all over it with yellow and gold and stupid body kits!

Nice car. Painting the headlight covers was a very good choice. The front area seems to have a better color continuity now. As far as the painted wheels, it's a very nice touch. But what maybe would make them look better is rather than use the paint that was used on the car which is so glossy, use something that gives an appearance that is a little more dull but of the same color. The high gloss paint looks a little out of place with the black tires and grey wheels.

post a picture of you next to the car,or holding a sign up or something, that first picture just looks way too photoshoped, and the 2 pictures arent even the same color red.or maybe its just im colorblind
Silencer_Nate

Yeah, and the sign should say, "I Da Man...I drive da Diablo" :grinyes:

09-14-2003, 05:26 PM
yep those arent even the same car, look at the 2nd picture, theres a black line a few inches under the window, but no black line on the 1st car
TimSalewsky
09-14-2003, 05:43 PM
The reason you see that "line" is because the engine hood is opened up. He even says it in his post. You can even see the little silver peg the hood rest on when it's closed. Beutiful car and beautiful color by the way.
benchi44
09-14-2003, 06:38 PM
ok well that answers the line, but why are the 2 pictures different shades of red?
TimSalewsky
09-14-2003, 06:45 PM
Different cameras for one. But also the different angle and the way the light is reflected as well off of the car in the second picture. There is a lot more light reflection in the second picture which will make it lighter as well even if he would use the same camera. And digital cameras do compensate a lot when there is a lot of light.

ohh but you have to admit that the 1st picture does look pretty weird

Well whatever, I still love the car. Anyone have any thoughts on those painted wheels? Do you think it looks good to use the car's glossy paint like that? Give me some thoughts before I do something like that.

hopefully that car will die down before i get it :D
But it keeps running most reliable car i've ever seen 250k miles.
hey I know it's a hoax but I just wanted to test out some color combos u know. If you have paint shop pro or photoshop I can send you a file that lets you change the color of rims rim edges, and body, and head light covers to any color u like!

While I'm not down with people saying they have a car they really dont(especially since its happened a lot lately) I'm glad you immediately said you lied and didn't keep trying to act like you have something your really dont.

But what is the point of even starting a hoax like this? Is your life so empty that you have to pretend to have a rich-ass dad who can afford cars like this? Don't have any "cool" friends to hang out with? Can't find a girl so you can get laid? Thanks for wasting bandwith dumbass. :loser:

I am a tv producer in the UK making a documentary for Discovery and am looking for a pagani zonda owner in the US. Can anyone help me or give me any advice re: owners/dealers? Please feel free to email me at kate.dart@pioneertv.com. Unless you are a teenage trigger-happy photoshopper....
many thanks, all help appreciated!

If you're going to try to pass off a Photochop as the real thing, atleast try to make it convincing. :shakehead

My GOD!! those things are so AMAZING.....
I think the thing that tipped me off was about the speed limit regulator set at 120....C'MON...there is no way of that happening....at least not as low as 120!!! And the Price tag on it seemed a bit low...and the shipping seemed a bit high....but the photochop was alright...why do kids feel like they want to act like something they arent to a bunch of people they will never meet....strange.....
I am 17 with an NSX...good start eh? One day the Pagani will be mine...OH YES...one day it will be mine....
