New Savana

My parents just bought one for our store. Its an AWD 03 2500 Savana base model with all the racks and the gate in it. White w/ this black plastic everywhere. Looks pretty good. The seats are very confortable. Its a very nice van. Has tons of power, and can pull quite a big trailer too. :grinyes:

I have a question about your Savana van. I think it should be equipped with Passlock II as standard equipment. When you turn the key to the "on" position does a light on the dash saying "security" light up and then go off after a few seconds? I have an '04 Savana and the manual says that light is suppposed to do that but the light never comes on on mine. The dealer said the light is only supposed to come on if there is a problem with the Passlock. I find it hard to believe the manual is lying. Thanks if you could check that for me. That is, assuming you still have the van, I see this post is rather olde now.
