I have a clicking noise in my 2000 Civic. I can hear it out the windows and it starts when I'm going about 35 mph. I've had my tires checked and there appears to be nothing wrong with them or nothing protruding out of one. We have had alot of rain this year and road is full of potholes that I've hit on more than one occassion also. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I think i remember someone telling me that when your brake pads start to wear down, there is a mechanism or piece of some kind that starts making that clicking noise to alert you to your worn pads.

Does it mainly do it when your turning ? If it does than you have a bad CV joint. Just get a new axel and replace it.

i know from first hand that if you drop your car sometimes you cv boot goes. I got it fixed and it tore open again. Its not even dropped that low, like 1.8 inches on bilstein shocks and eibach sportlines.

That may be on other cars but I does not happen on Honda's.
