I don't know how up-to-date this camera is but this is a virtual panoramic tour of BMW's Motorsport museum. No less than 3 F1s are shown: a silver roadcar, a GTR96, and a GTR97. As well as the 1999 Le Mans winning V12LMR that uses the Mac engine.

I have seen the panorama photo before. Looks to be a very cool place and I would love to visit some day. Unfortunately, I've read in more than one place that they do not allow cameras inside. That seems pretty lame! :screwy:
Incidentally, I have no idea exactly which cars those actually are. The '96 FINA GTR wears the #39, which should make it GTR #17R, but thats the car that is often seen here in the states. The '97 FINA GTR is wearing #42 - that was Lehto/Soper's car from the '97 LeMans race and would be GTR #24R. The silver F1 roadcar is anyones guess.
Incidentally, the #42 FINA car was the one at the factory getting serviced when tvrfreak visited.

i highly doubt 24R being the car on the pic, for 24R is the car that i've seen @ taylor and crawley.
That car has been painted in the EMKA livery, and it had that @ 1998 LM race, so it's not possible that it stands alongside the 1999 BMW V-12 LMR.

Hey Maarten -
You're right about that - I wasn't thinking. :banghead: All I can say is that GTR #24R was the car that wore that race number '42' at the 1997 24Hrs of LeMans.
It seems they have created an imposter. ;) I wonder why they would do that in this case? #24R failed to finish the race, retiring after 238 laps.

also, the 96 gtr is the gtr for sale by ray bellm on qv500.com. The gtr here in the states has a blue stripe down the middle, that one clearly has a red stripe
