Help!! Motor Mount hangup!!

I am doing a Y8 swap but my friend who is installing it is having a problem with my timing belt side motor mount.

My car is a 91 STD and I am putting in a 97 Y8 motor. Can anyone let me know if there is anything that can be done?

Should I use the mount from my original motor? I think He was trying to use the one from the Y8.

I haven't done the swap myself (yet!), however, in everything I've read about the proper procedure you're *supposed* to use the driver's side motor mount off of your original motor.

ever tore the front motor mounts? might i suggest go to home depot....find a tube of concrete poly(kinda like caulking) when it dries it basicaly dries like a poly mount...but a little softer. so far mine has been going strong for some time....i say this as i have torn motor mount inserts and have since switched to this method.
