I have a 1998 Jetta GLS 2.0 (4-banger all the way) and my stock exhaust is rusted horribly and i just ordered a Borla/Brospeed exhaust but i guess it is back ordered untill the end of this month. Im pretty sure its a Stainless system for $333 im getting tired of waiting for it and was wondering if anyone new of a better exhaust for the same price that im not going to have to wait a month for it to get to me. http://www.nopionline.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=dsppartdetail&vmakeid=442&vmodelid=045&vcatyear=1998&vnopinum=001%2B0881&vTitle=1998%20VOLKSWAGEN%20Jetta%20Exhaust%20Cat-Back%20Exhaust%20System&vaffid=0 Nopi says its aluminized but the Brospeed website says its Stainless so i dont know what to believe

I would say that the exhaust your looking at buy is aluminized since it has a borla muffler. I would go with the techtonics exhaust for about 300 with the borla muffler it will take about 2-5 days to get.

If you have a VW, don't get stuff from NOPI. They aren't as good a supplier for VW tuners as with Japanese import stuff. Check out www.newdimensions.com www.rapidparts.com and www.abdracing.com
Techtonics is good name brand for VW aftermarket parts. I got their free flow cat for a Jetta III I had. Unreal. I bought New Dimensions Borla exhaust which was stainless steel (Borla muffler and tip with ND piping, exhaust hangars) and that was worth it's value.
From ABD Racing, I bought their cone intake air filter kit. It was very loud and I ended up putting the stock airbox back on with a K&N filter. I got a headache after 3 minutes of driving. It was like the engine was sitting next to me and all the rocker arms were clinking in my eardrums.

Go straight to the Borla website and bypass all that... Then go to NGP(NewGermanPerformance) they have it all...

About a week ago Nopi told me that the exhaust was delayed until the end of october so i told them to screw themselves and canceled. One of my friends found a Pacesetter/Monza Cat-back for me from www.Planetperformance.com for $160 it should be here next tuesday. What should i expect from pacesetter, ive heard they are a good brand to go with but for $160 i had to try it out.
