whats up guys? I just bought a b16a for my 99 civic ex. My plan is to add a turbo. Before I put the motor in I want to build it completely. My goal is 450+ WHP. I already ordered pauter X-Beam rods, wiseco pistons, golden eagle sleaves, and some extras. What I was wondering is, Does anyone make a stock stroke forged crank for the car. If not, how much power can the stock crank hold. This car is my daily driver and I would like to minimize any problems. I am new to building honda motors, but not new to building motors. I am more used to nissans. I will take any advice you have for me when it comes to hondas. I went with the pauter rods and the wiesco pistons because i have good experience with them in rb26dett's and sr20det's. If you have a better idea for pistons and rods, i will consider it. I do not want a stroker kit because it is a daily driver. I have installed many stroker kits in nissans and i dont see them as being road friendly.

-thanks guys, all ideas are welcome

Yea I agree heeping the stock stroke so you have that almost perfect R/S ratio is a good idea. But finding one is another thing, I don't know of anyone who makes them as of now, I think maybe eagle does, but not sure. I would give Eagle and Crower a call and see what they got. I know of one place that does make them they are called Paeco DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!! Their stuff is crap IMO. Anyway hope this helps.

stock crank is fine. I think the stock piece is forged, but it's been used in cars making 600+ to the wheels so that's enough for me. You could jump up to like a crower, sunny bryant, cola or LA billet crank, but that's some big dough (2000+) for something that you don't really need.
