One man that clearly has too much time on his hands is pitpass reader, and Minardi supporter, Marc Sparks in South Africa.
Marc writes:

They've been revealed, those dirty rotten little cheats, the Michelin runners. It is probably no surprise to anyone that with the exception of Ferrari, and to a certain extent BAR, that the non-cheaters comprise the small independent teams, Sauber (or as we are want to call it Ferrari-Light), Jordan (the implosive), and Ecclestone-Minardi.

Removing the 'Dirty Rotten Cheats'™ from the standings reveals a Constructors' Championship in keeping with F1 budgets.

Revised standings after Hungary:

1 Ferrari - 199 points
2 BAR - 98 points
3 Sauber - 88 Points
4 Jordan - 65 Points
5 Minardi - 57 Points

While Jordan appears to have the edge over Minardi, it is more as a result of their 'anomally' win in Brazil. Indeed since Canada, where Jos Verstappen scored Minardi's first Podium position (3rd), Minardi have accumulated 34 points to Jordan's 19.

Should the 'Dirty Rotten Cheats'™ become legal at Monza, it should be worth noting that even Minardi's 5th place is unassailable, and that they would be scrabbling for 6th at best.

Ferrari, BAR & Sauber really have nothing to lose by challenging the results of every race this season, while Jordan & Minardi might wish to avoid alienating current (Cosworth) and future (Mercedes) engine suppliers.

For information's sake here are the revised Drivers' Championship standings:

The best any of the 'Dirty Rotten Cheats'™ can do in the three remaining races is joint-eighth.

Is it co-incidence that the whole debacle came to a head after Minardi's & Verstappen's positions became mathematically unassailable, after all Bernie does own a chunk of Minardi.

Perhaps Turk got instructions?

I don't know what this guy, Marc is on, :dunno: but if he follows the news a bit he should have known that the Michelin tyres are declared "legal" by the FIA and that the matter is closed...

Hmmm.. so if we disqualify the Michelin runners for using legal tyres then can we:

DQ Minardi for having a self serving twit of a team princple.

DQ Sauber for being way to boring and the lap dog of their engine supplier (which they have to pay for anyway - can't figure that one out)

DQ Ferrari for selling out and running orange cars.

DQ BAR for failing to live up to their "Tradition of Excellence"

DQ Jordan for nearly killing Ralf Firman a few weeks ago.

Thats the lot gone, all equal on zero points. Of course the rest of the season will have to be cancelled and replaced by a series of televised courtroom debates. All drivers will be dropped from their retainers and the money used to pay lawyers fees.

Bernie will like that - he gets to keep all the TV income.

Yeah, it's hard to tell them apart from other teams with all those McLarens running in "Bruce Mclaren orange". ;)

Orange is the official racing colour of New Zealnd. Sadly, McLaren are no longer a NZ team, they pride themselves on being "international", although officialy British.

I went for a soft Ferrari DQ option, didn't want to upset the delicate disposition of their fans. If you don't like that one, how about for breaching the salary cap?
