JDM Type R Integra

Does anyone know if a JDM Type R engine will pass smog? And do they normally use an OBDI or OBDII Ecu? Because I have a 95 LS, so my car's OBDI, so I'm wondering if I'll have any problems swapping

You want pass smog because it's a Jdm motor(in cali)? What you have to do it find a geto shop a pay more $$$ to pass. Works for me and my friends!!1
