Axle bolts keep breaking

The 6 bolts connecting the axles to the drive train are loosening and shearing off on my new 2003 Boxster. This first happened at 888 miles and a week old. The dealer thought the factory had not properly torqued the bolts.

At 2888 miles (interesting coincidence), it happend to the other side.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? No, I'm not racing it! It's just a regular Boxster for crying out loud. I'm missing a lot of great top-down driving weather while it sits at the dealer.

More likely a drunken Fin just back from Holiday. The brake rotors in my BMW 330i keep warping, also. I'd stick with Japanese cars that don't break, but most are so boring.

get some performance rotors for the BMW. They're not that expensive.
I wouldn't know about Japanese reliability, since I've never driven one.

well anyway, if that happened to me I would use "wire locked" bolts, problem solved.
