I need some help. Im undecided on what to get next between these choices, 89 Pontiac Formula, 93-96 300ZX TT then of course there is this new trend going on with drifting that my friends are trying to get me to buy 91-93 95-97 240SX and drop an sr20det but I dunno.

The formula Im looking to buy looks like this.

The car looks good to me, but you need to take it for a drive and feel how it shifts, handles etc.

Make sure the headlight motors work, that the back hatch is in good working condition. Check the interior out too.

I don't know much abut 3rd Gens, but that car is probably only work $3000USD in good condition.

I would buy it because of the ease of working on it and large array of aftermarket parts out for them.

The 300ZX TT would be a better car then either a 240SX or a 3rd gen Formula. Although, it would probably be easier & cheaper to work on the Formula.

I'd have to say go with the formula. I've seen so much done to that series around here that if I could get one I would.

I'd have to say go with the 300zx tt. I have a third gen, and the specs aren't quite up to par with the 300zx. The 5.0 has about 165 stock horses, and the 300zx has about 300. You have to make sure though with the 300 you check the timing belt/chain. Also check to make sure the turbos still spool. Those cars kick ass once they are finished. It will turn a lot more heads than a third gen too.
