Tranny question

On my 00civic ex, everytime I drive and take the rpms above 4000 and shift from 2nd to 3rd gear, it makes a scratching noise as if i missed 3rd. Sometimes it also does that from 1st to 2nd gear, and this has been happening ever since i bought the car last november. And also i do push the clutch in all the way when i shift. Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanx

your sinchros are f***ed. You bought the car from someone that either didnt know how to drive or beat the hell out of the tranny.

Suggest getting a new one from a junkyard.

youre synchros r beat...u need to either rebuild the trans or get a new one from somewhere....
