No there are no pre outs but aftermarket ones are used. I had to get one to install my JDM Gathers unit. Overall the sound quality will never match an aftermarket deck but to answer your question.......yes.

first off gsteg not in this lifetime pimpin factory decks produce on average 6-13 watts per channel have no preamp section and are usaully bland on all sides.

Next you can hook up a amp to a factory system no problem the sell what is called a line level to rca adaptor we sell em for 16 bucks they're aren't hard to hook up you just need to tap signal lead from each side. and poof you now have rca's for your amp...//.

lol. aside from the power the watts the headunit puts out (doubt anyone can hear the difference between 10 watts and 18 watts).

i would highly recommend getting a line-out converter from www.davidnavone.com. some may say he makes the best convertors out there. i even have a tech paper he wrote comparing OEM to an aftermarket deck.

you doubt most ppl can hear around a 2.5 db jump? hhhmm something that comes from ppl that are looking to make the most profit from an entire entity or coming from ppl that specialize in audio.. hhmm should i convert back to my stock radio GTF out of here..

yes..i doubt people can hear the difference between 8 watts.

1 watt vs 2 watts. thats a potential 3db increase right there..yet no one will can tell the difference, since the difference is so small. its not until u get into the higher power range where 3db can be more audible.

its all in physics..such things as intensity that lets us determine how noticeable the differences are. if u would like..i can show u the intesity level between 1 watt and 2 watts vs. 100 watts and 200 watts.
