Does anyone here know of a sprots medicine doctor or any doctor that deals with muscoskeleton problrms that I could talk to online. I want a thrid opinion other than what my athletic trainer and sports medicine doctor have to say. I'me 15 and I have pain in my right knee, but only during weight bearing deep knee bends. I just won't want to have to pay to talk to a doctor.

eh...just wait for a very loud *POP*...then they can cut off your leg and beat some sense into you with it! hehe Seriously, I don't know how much it costs, but I would pay for a real Dr...I wouldn't trust one online...also, do you not have insurance, or does it not cover it?

This is one of those things you should pay for. Don’t look around just to hear the answer you want, see a doctor and make sure there isn’t something wrong in there. You don’t want to screw up your knee for the rest of your life just to save a few bucks.

Guys, in my post I said I'm 15. I don't have insurance myself but my mother gets it through her work. The copay on doctor visits is like 5 bucks. I also said that I wanted a third opinion about what is wrong with me. My doctor and athletic trainer isn't exactly sure about what's wrong with me and more importantly how long it's gonna last. All I know is that what they have me doing right now is helping alot, just it isn't healing completely, if I stop the exersizes and ice, the pain will return. I just wanted a third opinion about weather my problem is genetic, will I outgrow it and so on. What the guys says won't change the way I treat it and I will still follow what my doctor and trainer say.

Ironically it's part of growing up.

I had it when I was a teen, my bro-in-law who is 17 went through it for a while too.......heard of the term 'growing pains'?

Once your body has done adjusting itself and growing, you likely won't be bothered about it again.

BTW, if you really want a third opinion, I can put you in touch with a witchdoctor who will help you for 2 chickens and a lizard's tail.

Did any of you guys have this problem for a year straight? At one point, I had it in both knee and then one just got better. The other knee has been bothering me for about ayear.
