Hi guys,
i start a new project, this one will be long and i will only work on it when other project will need to be put on side for some reason like after painting, clear coating, ...
So here is my new project, the Peugeot 206 Bonus car taken from WRC II EXTREME GAME. The philosophy of this car is very simple : imagine GROUPE B rally car still alive...with a 206.... so you got a mix of 206 and 205.
So here is first pics...
**** I return to old method of attaching files ******* :-(

Very nice project! I see you're not the only one getting ideas from ps2 games !
Never played it though, after the rather dissapointing first WRC game...

Holaaaaa,
very nice progress !
Love it a lot, great modifications being made.
Tell me is there a real car modeled after this car, or did you just have to take sots from the ps2 game to have some references?
Olivier

here is some work on the engine,
The base one is the one from 205 T16 EVO2 KIT from Heller. But as many pug lovers know the heller engine is an EVO 1 Engine...so i made some scratchbuild on... It is is not really like an evo2 (because it is supposed to be a Dreamed Evo 3) but i take some idea from.
Hope you enjoy viewing pics like an enjoy making this car.
Bye

Here is the work of last week : Making the interior of the car...
It is the standard heller, i just remove extinguisher, and put a renaissance one, cut the back and put a firewall, and of course more realistic seatbelt.
oh and a bonus , the body with a first coat of prime to show mistake.

Thanks guy for the message,
you are right phil, the heller is very simple and simplify, and far from reality on some part (the rollcage as example)...
but as i was not sure of my build skill, i have prefered damage a low cost heller instead of a Tamiya Kit. Perhaps one day i will try another thing on a Tamiya. Ideas is not what i have much less.
Now the challenge is to make the rear with a big extractor including wheels arches, but before i must set engine in correct place, and put front wheels, to put the car on his feet.

This is some fantastic stuff. The premise is too cool and the kitbashing is going great. I'm curious to see how you'll be doing the rear suspension of this project so I can pick up tips and get my McLaren MK8B powered '69 Corvair project off the ground.

Seb, that is a case of 'extreme' modeling!
Are you going to give it bonnet and door plates from a particular rally?

Thanks for words guy, i hope to show you in the week the air extractor i scratchbuild, just need few sand on it now.
Are you going to give it bonnet and door plates from a particular rally?
At first i wanted to use the SAN REMO 2002Rally plates -> the sponsors was "WRC II EXTREME Le jeu officiel de Rallye", but this need to modify the game car scheme :-( The Logo PEUGEOT set on the door don't let me put Rally Plates :-( and at least i never see a decal sheet with 2002 San Remo Plates.
http://files.automotiveforums.com/img/255image_04.jpg
Be free to give me idea...
One guy tell me : do it with the 205T16 scheme, but i don't think it will look nice.

Museum Collection made some San Remo 2002 plates but they were a bit off. If you don't want to modify the scheme you could try some 'Finland' style door numbers. Since it is a fantasy everything is up to you!

I agree the old 205 scheme wouldn't look as good as the one from the game. Perhaps you could just move the PEUGEOT logo down to the door sill and fit the numbers in above. Some extra sponsorship from typical Peugeot sponsors like Clarion, Michelin and Aquabase would look cool too. Tastefully done of course. Total probably wouldn't gel with the silver and blue livery.

Thanks friends for the kind words,
unfortunately the process of this car is slow down...i move to another town for job :-( and most of my week end are spent on road to join my girlfriend-futur wife.
The progress so far :
on the last pics you can see the rear wheels arch build...it is not anymore, i got some alignment trouble so i decide to redo it with a better ajdustment.
Phil the air outtake is like on the 205 EVO 2 with some modification.
