b18c1 swap in my 93 teg

can anyone help me out im wondering if i swap a b18c1 in my 93 teg gs will i see a significant increase or should i buy a new car i know the hp numbers but will it be easy to put my teg into the 14's w/the c1? my friend has a 96 gsr w/ cold air intake, throttlebody, intakemanifold and header he runs 15.1 will i or should i be close to that w/my g2 gsr?
