You've come to the wrong place pal. We're all destitute and spend our waking hours trying to scrape funds together, worrying about how to pay the rent or pay for the next meal.
[/troll]
Seriously though, what makes you think we're all rich?

I'm poor :(
Yeah- but if you want to be rich- the best field to work with is money- or law- especially in the US of A.
No really I am sort of poor at the moment

Well, I'm with everyone else here, got a job that pays next to nothing. Only way to make money is to invest all the $$$ that you don't need to spend into stocks, or some other thing that can be turned into more money *cough*cocaine*cough*

You can make money at just about anything - you just have to be really really good at what you do. Lawyers don't make all that much money - the good ones do. Mechanics don't make much money at all, but the good ones do. Heck dock workers in San Fransisco can make 100K a year (just getting into the union is a bitch though).
Computer software is still a great money maker, it is just a matter of spending a few years gaining that experience you'll need to get towards the better $$$

I made all my money moderating this site. And winning 'Moderator Of The Year' the last 3 years running. The only real competition was Jimmy, but he can be bought off. :evillol:

Ok inside joke....well no one here is super rich that I know of on here, there are a few that like to think they are but that's on every board :lol2:
To me being "well off" doesn't necessarily have to be a monetary thing...one who is content with what he has is richer in spirit than the one who has wealth but is never satisfied. I personally would rather be happy and healthy and have minimal possessions than to have everything but still not find happiness. Just my :2cents:

Well said.
There probably are some hilariously rich people on here, but they're smart enough and modest enough not to flout it in everyone's face :)

Hey, Katwoman...don't know if you were in on it...but we actually found good old chasertourv under a different name...physician101! This time he was a 24-year-old orthopedic surgeon with an Audi S8! Very funny stuff. Check out the thread in the Audi S8 forum and look for his post.
The moderators checked the IPs, and looks like both Chasertourv and Physician101 have been banned. Don't know if they can ban the entire IP. But I wouldn't be surprised if this kid begs one of his friends to borrow their PC at their house just so he can try again under another assumed character. This kid is like John Cusack in Identity!
So everyone keep your eyes out for BMW-loving, whitebonics-talking, grammatically challenged postwhores popping up again!
- OH..and on the topic of wealth and jobs...I spent my young years growing up in a van, a mobile home, a 500sq ft apartment, and the rented bedroom of my grandmother, shared with my mother. Good grades, college degree, and willingness to take any job at all (for me, it was car sales after college for 3 years) to make a buck and scratch your way to the top of the heap. I moved into financial advising and personal insurance about 9 years ago...and things are pretty good. So if you are a born salesman, try any kind of sales, and just become the best at it...from there you can go into anything!
I still haven't quite worked up the income for a nice twin turbo Lorinser S600 and a 450ft yacht yet...but it's good to have a goal!
