The new E55's are a supercharged V8 DOHC. From what I've read those things will run times similar to a Viper. Basically stock this will rape a Cobra.

The E55's before that were the same thing but just not supercharged. Now this car couldn't beat a Trans Am. The same day I got to ride in an E55 (no s/c) I rode in a 01 convertible Trans Am, the Bird definately felt a lot stronger.

Yes, he was really stock, and no, they have yet to make a manual AMG...auto.

M3 or M5 probably would of had its ass kicked by both of those cars. I was really skeptical at first about that E55 being as fast as they said but wow that threw my skeptism out the window.

A Z8 could hang though. Just wait till BMW comes out with a forced introduction engine. BMW still thinks turbos and S.Cs are cheating. I mean I love BMW but they need to go F.I, because Mercedes top german performance car maker? Just dosnt sit right, I mean mercedes has always been more about luxury THEN performance.
