Caravan blowing engine fuse

Have a 96 caravan that is blowing the "engine fuse" when trying to start. Occasionally we can replace the fuse, get it started and start driving maybe a mile and it dies. Engine fuse blows. If you replace the fuse, turn the key on, it won't blow, turn it to engage the started and it will blow.
Again, sometimes we can get it to start, but once we start driving it dies again....
Thanks for your SUPPORT and ASSISTANCE...

I started blowing the Engine fuse on my 1997 Grand Caravan a few days ago. In my case it seems to be related to heat. If I am driving in stop and go traffic the fuse will blow and a replacement fuse will blow right away. If I allow the vehicle to cool down for about 90 minutes I can get going again.
