New project - Skyline R34!

While some projects wait for some decals and for new airbrush to come, it was time for new project.

After I saw soo my great Skyline which many of you made, I decide to
make one too.
First Idea was to order SAS transkit but money went on new airbrush now.
For now, I will be only change wheels and make 2 tone interior (grey/blue). I tried new color on it. I't automotive color named Subaru WRC Blue, but it isn't same as color on rally car. Is closest to WRX. You can see that from photos which I tried on Beetle body too.

Any suggestions and ideas for that car are welcome. Many of you made it so all suggestions are welcomed.:)

It's Tamiya kit.

The blue looks good but if it's an automotive color you'll certainly need to clear coat it. But you certainly knows it.

I have no ideas for the skyline but lots of ideas for your beetle :biggrin: , will it be one of your future projects?

Yes. it's auto color. Chasis is already clear coated as you can see it on photo.:wink:

Yes, Beetle is future project too. One which my wife wanted most.:wink:
All tips and ideas are welcomed for it too.

I started work on interior. It's all painted in gray and I started to paint part of seats and doors in blue color.

Interior looks good. Did you mask it off, or just paint?

Blue color is hand painted. I still need to make little corections.

Here is latest update after big fight with my airbrush.
I put model in some shade to show real color better. On previous photos light give it lighter shade of color.

Latest update. I started to work on chasis. Various fields are painted and suspension partly made.

Even with an airbrush fight, you are paint is always amazing...il like the way this model is coming.

Interior is almost finished.

That looks so nice. The shine, the color, the awesome work on the chassis. WOW!!! Everything is great.
I don't think anyone has made a white one yet. I don't really like white cars anyways.

If I didn't remember wrongly, there is one white GT-R made in AF.. I couldn't remember who..

Slowly going to finish. Body is just put on chasis to see how it will, still not on right place. :smile:

Hey awesome model there you got goin, i finished that same Gtr a few weeks ago in the same color, but i chose yellow interior.. I will post some pics a soon as i fix this crappy digital camera...

Actually, I have been thinking of doing it white again, since it has been stripped. But the Deep Metallic blue I have for it looks so nice... :icon16:

looks awesome, but one thing: that HUGE muffler looks lonely, maybe a set up HUGE tailpipes (or just one) to give it company? other than that its awesome
