2nd Chance at b18c5 Civic Coupe

happened a couple of nights ago...
ok, so i roll up to the local burger master where some fellow honda drivers meet up and i see a guy with a black coupe (94).
i've raced him before, but w/ a couple of friens in the car while my car was running pretty shitty, so i asked if he wanted to run again.
he says fine, an we roll out to a spot off the main roads.
now, he's got i/h/e/clutch on his b18c5, so i expect to lose, but figure why not have a try. flagger comes out, i rev up to 3k, an we're off. 1st gear, we're dead even (i had a SHITTY launch), an i slam it into 2nd where he pulls about 1/3 a car on me. after this he slowly pulls away to about a car ahead (my front bumper was at his rear bumper) up to 100 mph.
was a good enough race, an i had a good time...
sigh...need to be faster...

how come everyone always has a bad launch? :)
good race.. 100mph, to fast for me :( When i race here in Canada. I get up to 100kph, maybe a bit more and i call it quits :)

haha...nah, he'd have beaten me whether or not i launched better (his 2nd pulled pretty hard on me), jus wouldn't have been a full car if i nail my launch is all.
wasn't too fast for the road (it was wide 4 lane road with no turn-on/offs.)
i'm getting the test pipe on this week and taking the shit outta my trunk an gonna go run him again (prolly won't beat him still, but gonna see wut happens)

First of all just because its an import doesn't mean its just for show he has moded that car pretty well and and that [email protected] MPH he runs can probably out run you 5.0.
